Video: One Arrested, Two Sought After Columbus Police Chase

COLUMBUS, Miss. (Press Release) – On February 4,2016 at 9:26 pm, A Columbus Police Officer attempted to stop a Red Ford Taurus with a Tennessee tag for running a stop sign on Military Road and MLK ,the car was occupied by 3 b/m s. Once Officer turned on the blue lights and siren the car sped up and would not stop for blue lights and siren, the car began to swerve out of control (car estimated to be traveling at about 65 MPH) and ran into a light pole at MLK and 21st Ave heading south, once the car stopped the driver and passenger (front seat) climbed out of the back window of car and started running south east away from car. The driver is still at large , no description, the passenger has been identified and was taken to the hospital by unknown person ,he was treated and released, the investigation is still pending and charges are likely to be brought on these two individuals in the near future once investigation is complete. A third passenger was located in the back seat of the car with injuries ,he was taken to the hospital by ambulance and treated for his injuries and then transported to the Lowndes County Adult Detention Center after being treated by hospital staff. The third passenger was identified as Deondra Deshawn Tillman, he was arrested and charged with the following no bond has been set at this time. Additionally there were 2 loaded weapons ( handguns) in the front driver seat , the two weapons were seized and placed into evidence ,to be tested to determine if they were used in another crime.
