Video: One Arrest Made In Wednesday Night Shooting

On Thursday, October 15, 2015 Starkville Police Department arrested 19 year old Nia Kamyra Smith charging her with “Drive-By Shooting”, “Felony Possession of Cocaine” and “Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana”. This arrest is in connection to two reported drive-by shootings occurring on Wednesday, October 14th on Tabor Street and 1040 North Montgomery Street in Starkville, MS. Nia Smith, an MSU student, was taken to the Oktibbeha County Jail where she awaits her initial appearance today at 2:00PM in Municipal Court.
Starkville Police are investigating Nia Kamyra Smith as well as other suspects for a connection to Fire Arms Trafficking.
