Video: Omnova’s Columbus Facility Sold

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – It sits like a 92 acre ghost town, on the edge of Columbus, along Highway 69 South.
But new life could be on the way for the 700,000 square foot Omnova warehouse and office space.

St. Louis based, Stuart B. Millner and Associates has purchased the facility, with plans to turn it into a multi-tenant industrial center.

The asset management company could sink as much as ten million dollars, into the project, over the long run.

Phase one has begun.

It’s focusing on the 200,000 square foot distribution center, and should be finished up in just a few weeks.

The property will soon be known as the Columbus Business Center.

Its loading docks, rail service and proximity to Highway 82 East made it an attractive investment.
