Ole Miss To Face Oklahoma State In Jan. 1 Sugar Bowl

OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI Sports) – Ole Miss is Sugar Bowl bound.

The Rebels will face Big 12 runner up Oklahoma State Jan. 1 in New Orleans. It’s the first Sugar Bowl appearance for Ole Miss since the 1969 season.

The game will kick off at 7:30 p.m. CT and will be on ESPN.

The Rebels were ranked No. 12 in the final College Football Playoff rankings Sunday, seven spots ahead of No. 19 Florida. Ole Miss needed to be ranked ahead of the Gators to seal their spot in New Orleans. Oklahoma State was No. 16 in the final rankings.
