Ole Miss RB Ealy: Only team that can beat us is ourselves

OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI)- No. 13 Ole Miss is currently on its bye week. Lane Kiffin wishes his team wasn’t because of how well they have played. The Rebels are 3-0 and have beaten each opponent by at least 19 points while averaging almost 53 points per contest.

On the other end, one could argue it came at the perfect time because it gives them extra time to prepare for the next opponent- No. 1 Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Ole Miss running back Jerrion Ealy is confident in his team and how they are approaching the bye week.

“I don’t believe there is anyone who can beat us but ourselves,” Ealy said. “If we go out there and don’t beat ourselves, we’re good. Everyone practices like we are playing Bama on Saturday and that’s how we have to do it. Why not get ready now so you don’t have to get ready later?” Ealy said.

While Ole Miss enjoys the week off, Alabama will host Southern Miss on Saturday at 6:30.
