Oktibbeha County storm shelter construction almost finished

OKTIBBEHA COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Oktibbeha County Storm Shelter is close to completion.

Construction is still ongoing.

When a storm hits, this facility will house 1582 people and elected officials and can use it as an office space.

Citizens can also rent the building.

June 1 is the project finish date for the shelter.

An opening date has not yet been decided.
