Oktibbeha County industrial park update given

OKTIBBEHA COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Everything is right on track with the Oktibbeha County industrial park.

That’s the word GTR LINK CEO Joe Max Higgins gave at the Starkville Board of Aldermen work session today.

Archaeological studies are going well.

Higgins also says that bid and environmental costs should all be known by late summer.

There are other details to work out, such as a development recruitment plan all industrial park entities can agree on.

Higgins says at least one prospect has looked at the property, just off Highway 82, at least twice.

There is still litigation to be resolved surrounding the property.
