Oktibbeha Co. investigators: Missing 13-year-old has been found

OKTIBBEHA COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A teenager who went missing following the shooting death of her mother has been found.

Oktibbeha County investigators confirmed 13-year-old Lydia Flowers was found shortly before noon on December 6. They have not released any other information concerning how or where she was found.

They had been looking for her since her mother, 48-year-old Lou Anda Jones, was found dead in their home on December 5.

Investigators said Jones was shot in the back.

Her daughter reportedly had been last seen leaving the home in a car with someone else.
