OCH Reports Overall Loss This Fiscal Year
STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) -Some bad news for OCH Regional Medical Center.
In financial statements released to the County-owned Hospital’s Board of Trustees, and requested by the Oktibbeha County Board of Supervisors, the hospital is showing a loss of revenue over the past fiscal year of $5.1 million dollars.
An increase in patient revenues hasn’t been enough to offset increased expenses and a decrease in third party insurer payments.
OCH CEO Richard Hilton says the Trustees and hospital administrators are working with staff to find ways to cut costs with the “…least impact on patients, employees, and community.”
