Video: Noxubee Man Found Guilty After Fifth Murder Trial

Macon, Miss. (WCBI) – After five murder trials, LaMarcus Jones is found guilty of murder.
The jury deliberated nearly three hours Friday before returning the verdict.
Jones was sentenced to life in prison but will be eligible for parole.
Jones was immediately taken to the Rankin County Correctional Facility to begin serving his sentence.
Jones shot Arveo Lane in 2008 outside a nightclub in the Cedar Creek Community in Noxubee County.
His four previous trials ended in a mistrial.
Mareno Hubbard is also facing a murder charge in the shooting death of Lane. No word on when his trial will begin.
