Noxubee County Tax Increase

NOXUBEE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Taxes are going up in Noxubee County.

During a public hearing today, the Board of Supervisors voted 3 to 2 to raise the county property tax rate 1.78mills.

The increase averages out to $27 more a year on a $100,000dollar house without homestead, $18 with homestead.

The new fiscal year starts October 1st.
