Video: Noxubee County JROTC Cadets Honored

MACON, Miss (WCBI) – Some Noxubee County High School students’ experiences may inspire them to pursue a career in the armed forces.

Fifty-three Air Force JROTC cadets were recognized at Noxubee County High School during the unit’s annual promotion and awards ceremony Wednesday.

The program educates and trains high school cadets in citizenship and promotes community service.

The curriculum includes academic studies, character education, team-building experiences.

The ceremony rewarded their hard work.

Noxubee County High School has one of the largest JROTC programs in the state.
