Noxubee County Crash Remains Under Investigation

NOXUBEE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – State troopers continue to investigate a fatal crash in Noxubee County.

It happened on Highway 21, just south Shuqualak, Thursday morning around 8 a.m.

Troopers say a 2000 blue Jeep Laredo was traveling north when it lost control and left the highway.

The Jeep overturned and the driver, Ronald D. Barnes, 61, of Dekalb was ejected from the vehicle.

Mr. Barnes was transported to the Noxubee County Hospital where he later died.
