NOXUBEE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) -The second murder trial of a Noxubee County man accused in a 2008 shooting ends in a mistrial

Judge Jim Kitchens declared a mistrial Friday (9/28) evening after one of the jurors was reportedly arrested for perjury.

25 year old Lamarcus Jones was charged in the August 2008 shooting death of Arveo Lane, at the “Q-5” club, in Noxubee County.

His first trial in March of this year also ended in mistrial, after a juror had to leave for her father’s funeral.

Jones’s third trial is set for March 2013.

NOUXBEE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)-The jury is still Friday (9-29) deliberating in the murder trial of of a Noxbuee County man accused in a 2008 shooting. 25-year-old Lamarcus Jones was charged in the August 2008 shooting death of Arveo Lane, at the “Q-5” club, in Noxubee County. Jurors got their instructions yesterday and have been deliberating since then. We have a crew at the courthouse and will bring you the jury’s verdict when we get it.
