No More Curbside Recycling For Columbus
COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI)-Curbside recycling is going away. Mississippi Industrial Wasted announced it is ending their curbside recycling service September 30th in Columbus. The recycling program has low participation making it no longer financially feasible to continue. Roughly 600 curbside recycling customers are scattered across Columbus. The company says customers who have prepaid will receive a refund for unused months. Mississippi Industrial Waste will maintain six locations in Lowndes County where the public can drop off recyclables.
