No Charges Filed In Three Year-Old’s Death

NESHOBA COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)-No charges have been filed in the death of a three year-old Neshoba County girl.

Kayzlyn Thomas was involved in a hit-and-run in a parking lot of a west Philadelphia shopping center December 5th.

Thomas died from the injuries of the hit-and-run last week.

The driver of the SUV that struck Thomas came forward days after the incident after allegedly hearing about the incident on the news.

Reports say the driver apparently realized she had struck the child and went to police.

Thomas’s organs were donated and her heart went to an 11-month-old in Texas.

The investigation is ongoing.
