MSU Guard Nick Weatherspoon Suspended Indefinitely

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — With just hours from tip-off in Arkansas, Mississippi State releasing a statement that sophomore guard Nick Weatherspoon has been suspended indefinitely from participating in game action.

The statement saying that Weatherspoon has been suspended due to a violation of team rules.

The Canton, MS native has served as a starter for 23 out of the 24 games played for the 2018-2019 season averaging 9.6 points per game and 2.3 rebounds per game.

MSU Athletics says no further update will be provided until Weatherspoon’s status changes.
