Video: New Lowndes County United Way Director Named

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – United Way of Lowndes County is under new leadership.

Danny Avery took over Monday as executive director.

Avery, who has spent the past year and half as a hospice consultant for Compassus Healthcare, will be responsible for all operations and activities of United Way in Lowndes County.

The chapter provides funding to more than fifteeen local charities and organizations.
