Video: New Details Released In Quality Inn Armed Robbery

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI)- Columbus police release new details surrounding an armed robbery outside of a motel.

Assistant Police Chief Fred Shelton says the victim was approached by two people asking for gas money.

The hold up happened this past Friday night outside the Quality Inn on Highway 45.

Investigators are still searching for the suspects.

Shelton says if you encounter any panhandlers, walk away quickly to a place of safety.
