Video: New CAFB Sign Unveiled

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — A brand new sign welcomes visitors to the Columbus Air Force Base.

City and base leaders attended a special ceremony to unveil the the sign Tuesday morning.

The project, which cost $25, 000, was completely funded by community donors and sponsors.

The Columbus Lowndes Chamber of Commerce spearheaded the planning and construction of the sign.

It replaces sign one that has stood since 1999.
