New Albany Police Take Pot and Meth Off of the Street
NEW ALBANY, Miss. (WCBI) – Some good police work in New Albany gets a large amount of drugs off the streets, and lands two people behind bars..
Narcotics officers got a tip that an alleged dealer may be moving marijuana and meth through town.
When they identified a suspect, they found out he had outstanding warrants in Texas.
Police served the warrants, and a search uncovered 10 pounds of pot, 20 grams of crystal methamphetamine, and $3,500.00 in cash.
They arrested Johnell Pryor and Frances Randel.
Pryor is charged with Possession with Intent to Sell, plus the warrants from Texas.
His bond is set at $50,000.00.
Frances Randel is charged with Possession with Intent.
Her bond is $10,000.00
