New Albany Police Arrest Man in Connection with Sunday Shooting
NEW ALBANY, Miss. (WCBI) — The search for the man wanted for a Sunday morning shooting in New Albany is over.
New Albany police and U.S. Marshalls tracked 22-year-old Quentin Gilbert down this afternoon at a home near West Memphis Arkansas.
Gilbert is the man police say shot a man around 4 a.m. Sunday at a Hobson Avenue home.
Gilbert fled the scene with his mother, his girlfriend and her three small children.
They were all still traveling with Gilbert when he was arrested this afternoon.
Police say they were not injured during the ordeal
