Nettleton’s Jason Ferguson Honored with Commemorative Sign in Hometown
NETTLETON, Miss. (WCBI) — One of our area’s greatest athletes was honored in his hometown on Monday.
Nettleton’s Jason Ferguson was awarded a commemorative sign in his hometown that showcased his 13-year career in the NFL.
After graduating from Nettleton High in 1993, Ferguson played two seasons of football at ICC before playing two years with the Georgia Bulldogs.
Following his graduation from Georgia, Ferguson was selected by the New York Jets in the 1997 NFL Draft. He went on to play for the Jets, Cowboys and Dolphins in his 13 years of NFL play.
