Monroe County Sheriff’s Department Nets 2 Arrests

MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — A Nettleton woman is behind bars after failing to update her registry.

Monroe County Sheriff’s Department deputies arrested 22-year-old Alisa Chavis for failure to register as a sex offender.

She is currently being detained at the Monroe County Detention Center.

Bond has not been set.

In a separate case, deputies with the MCSD Narcotics Unit arrested 35-year-old Sulligent, Ala. resident Robert Wilson.

Wilson’s arrest was the result of an ongoing investigation for the sale of hydrocodone, and he was charged with such.

Wilson is currently detained at the Monroe County Detention Center; bond has not been set.
