Video: MUW Starts Street Improvements

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Work has begun at Mississippi University of Women to improve parking and buildings.

Crews began milling parking lots and some roads on the campus this morning.

Third Avenue, Welty Drive as well as the Callaway and Whitfield parking lots will get a facelift the next few days.

Traffic will be diverted during the work.

The $191,000.00 renovations also include plans to rework some drainage to prevent flooding on some areas of campus.
