MUW Hosts Regional Science Competition

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Dozens of students from high schools throughout the state are competed in the Mississippi Regional Science Bowl to Friday on the MUW campus.

The department of sciences and mathematics is hosted the event.

Ninteen teams are competed in a quiz bowl type contest, while individual students took written tests.

They are competing for scholarships, trophies, and the chance to move on to the National Science Bowl in Washington, D.C.
