MSU Wide Receiver De’Runnya Wilson Arrested
Mississippi State wide receiver De’Runnya Wilson was arrested late Friday night in Alabama on drug-related charges, according to WSFA and multiple media reports.
Wilson, along with three other men, is charged with possession of marijuana second degree and possession of drug paraphernalia by the Covington County police.
Mississippi State says it’s “getting more details and will handle it appropriately.”
According to police, the four men were pulled over for speeding at 9 p.m. on US 84 in River Falls. The police found marijuana in the car.
Wilson’s junior season is scheduled to begin Wednesday with MSU’s first spring practice. He led the Bulldogs in receiving in 2014.
