Video: MSU Student Group Hosts Awareness Event

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – A student organization at Mississippi State University wants to help erase stereotypes and improve race relations.

The Black Student Alliance held an “I Am” demonstration on campus Tuesday.

The peaceful gathering featured signs with messages that address common labels organizers say are often placed on African-American students.

The BSA hosts program on campus throughout the year to help enrich student life culturally, intellectually and socially.
