MSDH reports sixth coronavirus death

The Mississippi Department of Health has reported its sixth coronavirus death.

The case was an 80 to 85-year-old Rankin County man with underlying conditions. He died while hospitalized.

Coronavirus-related deaths have previously been reported in Hancock, Tunica, Webster, and Wilkinson counties.

485 Mississippians have tested positive for COVID-19 as of Wednesday.
