MSDH reports 1,942 new cases of COVID-19

JACKSON, Miss. (WCBI)- The State Department of Health is reporting 1,942 new cases, along with 33 new deaths.

1,068 people are in Mississippi hospitals with confirmed or suspected Coronavirus symptoms.

276 of those patients are in I.C.U.

In our area, Lee County is reporting the highest number of cases with 69.

Pontotoc has 66, Oktibbeha and Monroe are both reporting 30 new cases each.

Lowndes and Itawamba both have 28.
