More Clouds Today Ahead of Rain This Weekend
COLUMBUS, Mississippi (WCBI) – Overcast conditions and cooler temperatures stick around for our Friday and Saturday with highs in the upper 50s. A cold front will move through on Sunday, bringing us some much needed showers. Looking ahead towards your next work week, the clouds will move out of the area to give us clear skies and colder temperatures!
TODAY/TONIGHT – It will be another chilly start to your Black Friday, so if you have plans to head out for shopping be sure to grab your jacket! Heavy cloud coverage will stick around throughout the day, but we will remain dry. Continuing into the overnight hours, clouds start to move out of the area that will allow our temperatures to drop into the mid 30s tonight.
THIS WEEKEND – Clouds make their way back into the region to start off early for Saturday morning and will stick around through the afternoon. Overnight temperatures remain chilly with lows dropping into the upper 30s to low 40s. Starting off your Sunday morning with overcast conditions just ahead of a cold front that will move through to bring a line of showers. The rain will not make its way into the area until lunchtime, so it should not slow down your morning commute. However, be sure to have that rain gear handy for after church as the showers will be moving through the area. Most of the rain should be cleared out of the area by sunset.
NEXT WEEK – The clouds make their way out of the area by Monday afternoon, leaving us with mostly clear skies and colder temperatures to start off next week. Highs for next week will be in the low to middle 50s!
