Mooreville High School falls victim to burglary

LEE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A man is behind bars accused of breaking into the Mooreville High School gym.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Department said 24-year-old Christopher Gann broke-in the school on April 6.

Several items were taken from the building and a school district vehicle.

Gann is being held on several charges, including Felony Taking of a Motor Vehicle and Burglary of a Commercial Building.

Investigators believed he could be connected to other crimes in the area.

Some stolen property has been recovered.

Gann remains in jail.
