Video: Monroe County Shooting Investigation

Monroe County, Miss.[WCBI]-A Hamilton woman is behind bars and a Monroe County man is in stable condition in a Tupelo Hospital after being shot in the Amory-Athens Area.

Monroe County Sheriff deputies were dispatched responding to a shooting victim taken to Gilmore Memorial Emergency Room… 31 year old Brandy Degaris is charged with aggravated assault, armed robbery and possession of a stolen vehicle from Montana. She was charged after Gaither Roebuck was shot with a 22-caliber handgun outside his business in the Athens Community Wednesday afternoon. Sheriff Cantrel says Degaris recently moved to Hamilton from Montana has a past history of crime and is a mean woman.

No bond has been set.
