Monroe County Man Killed In Accident

MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A Monroe County man was killed after his truck left the road and hit a tree on Tuesday afternoon.

Monroe County Coroner Alan Gurley says Glenn Allen Garrett, 40, was found lying beside his pick-up about 3 P.M. on Sandhill Road.

He was thrown from the truck after the crash and died at the scene, according to Gurley.

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the accident.
