Monroe County man killed in domestic dispute

MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — A domestic dispute left one man dead and another  person injured in Greenwood Springs.

The deceased victim is Eddie Hester, 28.

A family member living with Hester called 911 after a shooting at the home on Splunge Road.

This happened a little before 6:30 Sunday night.

Deputies found Hester dead upon arrival. The family member that called police was transported to a hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

According to Monroe County Coroner Alan Gurley, Hester’s body will be sent to the State Medical Examiner in Pearl for an autopsy.
