Monroe County Appoints New Board Attorney

ABERDEEN, Miss. (WCBI) – David Houston III was appointed as board attorney by the Monroe County Board of Supervisors  during the last meeting on Dec. 6.

John Creekmore, who has held the board attorney position for the past 18 years, has decided to step down and start a private practice.

Houston is coming off a 30-year tenure as a U.S. Bankruptcy judge and will officially start his new position in Jan. 2014.
