Mississippi Updates “Y’all Business” Website For Prospective Businesses

JACKSON, Miss. (WCBI-TV) – A state official says there’s now more detailed information online to help people who might start businesses in Mississippi.

Secretary of State Delbert Hosemann said Wednesday his office now has more market information on the website “Y’all Business” that it launched in October of 2015.

The site has interactive maps showing locations of hospitals, restaurants and other types of businesses. It has population data and information about household income and broadband access.

Hosemann says the free information is helpful for people when they’re looking to see how successful a potential business would be in a certain location. He says his office is trying to help small- and medium-sized businesses.
