Mississippi Food Network delivers 900 cases of frozen food
The Mississippi Food Network partnered with the Golden Triangle Dream Center to deliver around 900 cases of frozen chicken tenders.
WEST POINT, Miss. (WCBI) – Organizations in the area are looking to feed those in need.
The Mississippi Food Network partnered with the Golden Triangle Dream Center to deliver around 900 cases of frozen chicken tenders.
The food was then distributed to local organizations and churches to take back and help those within their communities.
The Dream Center invited around 12 organizations to help with the distribution of the food.
Executive Director Cole Bryan said this is the start of a goal the non-profit is looking to build up in the next year.
“We’ve got a relationship with Mississippi Food Network to become a hub for them. We are going to operate on a hub and spoke model with points of distribution around the Golden Triangle so the vision is the food comes in here and to this place and then we get it into these points of distribution to feed local families and these smaller communities,” Bryan said.
