Mississippi COVID-19 cases continue to increase

JACKSON, Miss. (WCBI)- Mississippi’s COVID-19 numbers continue to increase.

The MS State Department of Health is reporting 690 new cases along with 13 new deaths.

There are 44 active outbreaks of the virus in long-term care facilities.

Health officials presume 300,577 people have recovered from the virus with 6,896 deaths statewide.
