Missing Illinois Man Found In Prentiss County

PRENTISS COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Prentiss County deputies have located the 70-year-old man missing from Illinois.

Lonnie Hopkins left Wheaton, Illinois, outside of Chicago, last Thursday, heading to Biloxi.

Family members, last in touch with Hopkins, say he was near Savannah, Tennessee.

Yesterday, however, Hopkins’s rental car was found in a ditch on County Road 3421 in the Burton area of Prentiss County.

Deputies did find personal belongings around half a mile from the crashed car.
