UPDATE: Missing Boy Found Safe in Monroe County

UPDATE: Eli Moreland has been found, and is safe.

MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (Press Release) — Monroe County authorities are searching for 9-year-old Eli Moreland, described as being 5-feet tall and weighing 80 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a red hoodie and blue jeans at about 3:25 p.m. Wednesday getting off the school bus at Mt. Zion Road and Donnie Carter Road between Smithville and Hatley in northeastern Monroe County. His back pack was found.
