Midweek Warming Trend
TONIGHT: Showers and storms should fade away during the evening. Look for a variably cloudy night with patchy fog. Lows should be in the low 60s.
WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY: We’ll be partly cloudy, warm, and humid. Highs should be generally in the mid to upper 80s. There is a small chance of a stray shower or storm each day but most if not all locations will remain dry.
FRIDAY: A 30% chance of showers and storms exists, especially near the Tennessee border. Plan on highs in the low to mid 80s once again.
SATURDAY: A stronger system and cold front is expected to sweep across the area during the afternoon and evening. Scattered showers and storms are likely and some of them may be strong to severe. We’ll fine tune the details and timing in the coming days. Highs in the upper 70s to low 80s are a good bet.
SUNDAY: Much cooler air will settle into the region for a change. Highs may struggle to get out of the 60s! Lows Sunday night should cool back into the 40s.
MONDAY: We currently anticipate a “chamber of Commerce” type sunny day around here. That means light wind, plenty of sun, and highs in the mid 70s!
