MHP Investigating Fatal Choctaw County Crash

CHOCTAW COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A Eupora dies after his SUV crashed in Choctaw County crash.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol says 54 year-old Gerald Dodd’s Toyota Rav 4 crossed the southbound lane of Highway 9.

Troopers say the vehicle then went into a ditch and hit an embankment, about 10:40 AM on Tuesday, near McMullen Road.

Dodd was the only person in the vehicle. He died at the scene.

His death and the crash remain under investigation.
