MHP Investigating Fatal Car Crash in Alcorn County

ALCORN COUNTY, Miss. The Mississippi Highway Patrol continues to investigate an afternoon crash in Alcorn County that claimed the life of a Corinth man.

Troopers responded to US 72, near Glen, at approximately 1:45pm. Upon arriving, it appeared Tyler W Thomas, 31, of Corinth, was traveling westbound, in a 2013 GMC,  when he left the roadway and collided into a tree.

Thomas died on the scene from injuries sustained in the crash.

It doesn’t appear Thomas was wearing a seatbelt.
