Memphis man booked for sexual battery in Oxford

OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI) – A sexual assault is under investigation in Oxford.

Investigators said a Memphis man faces one count of Sexual Battery.

Joshua Starks, 25, was booked into the Lafayette County Detention Center on Monday.

Oxford PD took a report about a sexual assault that occurred the previous day.

Starks was given a 5,000 bond in Justice Court.
