Video: Medical Crisis Causes Crash

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A woman suffers a medical issue just before crashing her Ford Explorer into a tree on Monday morning.

It happened about 11:30 A.M. on Highway 12 at Jemison Mill Road in Lowndes County.

Lowndes County Coroner Greg Merchant says Julie Bailey, 47, of Steens died at Baptist Golden Triangle shortly after the crash.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol says the westbound SUV was the only vehicle involved.

The incident remains under investigation.
