MDOT to Temporarily Close Bridge on State Route 145 in Noxubee County

NOXUBEE COUNTY, Miss. (Press Release) — Mississippi Department of Transportation crews will temporarily close the Noxubee River Bridge on State Route 145 to repair a slide that has developed on the roadway near Macon.

Officials say the closure is necessary to repair the deteriorated roadway and ensure the safety of the traveling public. A detour will be in place during the operation.

Work is scheduled to begin at 6 a.m. June 23, and is expected to be completed by 12 p.m. June 29.
