McDonald’s Worker Charged In Robbery

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – Starkville Police say it was a McDonald’s employee who robbed the restaurant early Friday morning, and investigators arrested him when he reported to work Monday.

Jawan Hooper, 24, is charged with armed robbery.

The SPD SWAT team and U.S. Marshals arrested Hoooer at the restaurant Monday.

Officers responded to the robbery shortly after 3:00am Friday.

The investigation led police to Hooper. His bond is set at $25, 000.
