Marion County jail escapee caught after brief time on the run

MARION COUNTY, Ala. (WCBI) – A Marion County, Alabama inmate that escaped early Monday morning is caught.

Thomas Joe Green, 31, escaped from the Marion County jail just before 1 am.

He was in jail for a first degree Rape charge.

Investigators say he’s now in custody, although the arrest location wasn’t given.
