Marijuana plants seized from Monroe County home, no arrests made yet

MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Monroe County deputies are searching for some green thumbs, whose garden is a little less than legal.

Investigators seized six marijuana plants at a vacant house in the northern part of the county.

An exact location was not disclosed.

Sheriff Cecil Cantrell says his department is working to make some arrests and hopes it happens soon.
